Ed Merigan Edward Merigan is The Context Group's physical distribution specialist. He is particularly skilled in the areas of retail and manufacturing distribution and transportation. Mr. Merigan's experience covers distribution strategy, operations planning, facility design, facility engineering and automation, transportation, and productivity improvement Mr. Merigan began his consulting career with Kurt Salmon Associates where he became a Senior Partner in the company's distribution department. Mr. Merigan joined with others to found Highland Associates in 1982 where he served as Vice President responsible for the firm's distribution practice. Client projects typically involve detailed analysis at all levels of an operation from managerial to line level functions and include thorough implementation. A very important key to Mr. Merigan's success is involving client personnel as members of the design and installation team which ensures a trained nucleus when his work is completed. Mr. Merigan received a B.S. degree in Industrial Management from Boston College. Upon graduation he served a tour of duty as an officer and aviator with the U.S. Navy. Mr. Merigan is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and a member of the American Apparel Manufacturers Association.
